Mobile Internet Is Already Dominant, Survey Says

The people behind the Opera mobile Web browser have released the results of their State of the Mobile Web survey, which questioned 300,000 users in July and August this year. It makes for fascinating reading. For example, Nokia phones rule the roost outside of North America and Europe. In these same less wealthy areas of the world, mobile phones are the primary method of accessing the Internet. It's proof that there's a massive thirst for the Internet around the world, even if that means people have to get it through their cell phones.
